South Africa Confederations Cup 2009 ticket sales get Investec boost
South Africa’s international specialist banking group, Investec, has significantly boosted ticket sales for the FIFA Confederations Cup 2009 when it purchased 50 000 tickets for the tournament. The tickets, totalling the value of R3.5-million across various ticket categories, will be distributed amongst the company’s staff and to deserving local communities. Applications have now been made to purchase more than half of the 640 000 tickets available for sale for the 16 FIFA Confederations Cup 2009 matches.
